1. Information We Collect

Linehaul collects information necessary to provide automated freight invoice processing services:

Account Information: Email address, hashed password, and organization name.
Document Data: Extracted fields (carrier names, PRO numbers, charge amounts) from uploaded PDFs and EDI 210 files.
System Usage: Application logs for security and rate limiting.

2. Privacy Mode & Data Purging

Linehaul features an optional Privacy Mode. When Privacy Mode is enabled for your user account, raw PDF files are automatically and permanently purged from server disk immediately following data extraction, and raw text is wiped from database records.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to extract invoice fields, perform math audits, maintain tenant memory rules (saving your custom field assignments), and provide CSV export downloads. We do not sell or share your business invoice data with third parties.

4. Data Security & Storage

Passwords are securely hashed using industry-standard PBKDF2 encryption. Tenant data is isolated strictly by organization (`company_id`) to ensure cross-company data privacy.

5. Cookies & Session Management

Linehaul uses essential encrypted session cookies to maintain your login session and company context.
